Holger Ziekow's research covers technical as well as economical aspects. His main expertise is in the areas of integrating RFID and sensor data into enterprise software systems. His current research focuses on distributed event-based systems, inter-enterprise collaboration, and cloud computing.
Holger Ziekow is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley, California. He holds a Diplom from Technical University of Berlin and a Ph.D. from the Humboldt-University, Berlin. During his Ph.D. studies he was involved in several research projects on the integration of RFID in enterprise software and manufacturing solutions. He also worked as research assistant for SAP Labs in Palo Alto, California, as a programmer for embedded systems at ASIS GmbH in Germany, and as database developer for ACNielsen in New Zealand.
